This page serves to store information about assets, resources and sources.

The aim is to ensure transparency of operation.

This is the first draft of the page during early days.

Assets are what the team is given to look after until the day of the supper.

Resources are items people lend for the occasion

Sources include where items needed can be found.

Assets

The process of acquiring items of use is centred on donations from business and commerce. The main process is due to start after Christmas. It is hoped there will be private donations of whisky etc for the raffle. Cheques from all directions will be much appreciated!

After Christmas, one team member will seek potential donors of food, drink, cash, time and value. Value is our name for shop vouchers and anything else a business may offer.

The same team member will seek financial support from the Council and similar bodies.

The team will, until they are printed, sell tickets in principle, collecting the cash at the time.

Resources

So far, there are large Saltyres, plaids and a collection of woollen dolls for use in decorating the hall.

.A preliminary note on finance.
.
Assuming 50 adults at £8 attend - £400

Assuming 30 under-fifteens at £4 attend - £120

Estimated raffle return - 50 times average of three £1 tickets - £150

This far, the income may be £670.

Donations are difficult to predict - say £300. Depending on the varieties of support, this figure may be much more. Enthusiasm is infectious!

The aim is to produce the meal through donations of food etc.

With a possible £970, the only bill will be the hire of the hall. That will be about £50. Take off £20 for unpredictables.

£900 is worth working for, isn't it?!
